Company Profile

Essential is a small consultancy practice, founded by Bruce Pinnington, a consultant with many years experience in delivering strategic business and IT services. Utilising this experience in conjunction with a small number of experienced colleagues, Essential is able to offer in-depth industry experience at 'small company' fees, through fixed content and/or fixed priced assignments.

Short term, fixed price engagements help to ensure clients derive the best possible value from consultants by maintaining near term, delivery oriented objectives.

Consultants used typically have at least 15 years experience, primarily gained working with blue chip organisations, often supported by management and/or service management qualifications.

Essential is committed to principles of personal learning and improvement, and awareness of and contribution to the development of best practice through membership or affiliation with industry organisations such as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and the IT Service Management Foundation (itSMF).
